INGREDIENTS:

DOUGH:

  • Almond Flour Three-fourth cup.
  • Two Tbsp. Softened Cream Cheese.
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1 and 3/4 cup
  • One Egg, Large.
  • Salt 1/8 teaspoon.

FILLING:

  • 170 grams of Diced Chicken Breasts, Skinless and Boneless
  • Keto Barbeque Sauce Four tablespoons.
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese Half Cup.
  • Two slices of diced Bacon, Low-calorie.

INSTRUCTIONS:

PREPARATION:

  1. Set the Oven to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit.

DOUGH:

  1. Place the cream and mozzarella cheeses in a heat-resistant bowl and heat the microwave till the cheeses melt. Take it out and mix well.
  2. In Melted cheese, add Almond flour, Salt, and Egg. Combine them well using the hand mixer.

FILLING:

  1. Add Cooked Chicken and Keto Barbeque Sauce to a bowl. combine them well. The filling is ready.

  1. Take a pizza stone and apply a piece of Parchment paper on it. Then grease the paper.
  2. Place the dough and roll it in an oval shape with your hands.
  3. Put the mixture in the center by leaving One and a half inches from the top and bottom and 3 inches on either side.
  4. Cut both sides into Three-fourth inch strips.
  5. Turn and place the top and bottom on the filling.
  6. Starting from the top Fold the right and then left strip over the filling alternatively till the end. Now the whole braid is wrapped.

BAKING:

  1. Place the Pizza Stone with the Braid in the Oven for fifteen minutes.
  2. After that check if the dough is cooked or turned golden-brown.
  3. Take it out at this point and leave it to cool down for ten minutes.

TIPS:

You can use a cookie sheet for baking this Braid as well but a Pizza stone will bake the bottom of the braid better.

STORAGE:

Cover The Braid with Cling Wrap before storing.
FRIDGE: You can refrigerate it for 3 – 4 days. Reheat when needed to serve.
FREEZE: You can freeze the Dough and filling separately for a month. When needed. Defrost both, assemble and bake.
