  • 8 small slider buns (use keto-friendly buns or lettuce wraps for a low-carb option)
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef sirloin or ribeye
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and sautรฉ the thinly sliced onions (and bell peppers, if using) until they become soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced beef. Cook the beef until it’s no longer pink and slightly browned, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Preheat your oven’s broiler.
  4. Assemble the sliders by splitting the buns in half. Place a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
  5. Add a generous portion of the cooked beef on top of the cheese.
  6. Layer the caramelized onions (and bell peppers) on top of the beef.
  7. Place the sliders under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Top each slider with the other half of the bun and secure with toothpicks.

Note: For a low-carb version, skip the buns and serve the Philly cheesesteak sliders in lettuce wraps.
