Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons warm water
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, and salt. Mix them well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, and warm water until thoroughly combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- Place a portion of the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out into a thin circle or oval, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully transfer the flatbread (still sandwiched between parchment paper) to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until it’s golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat the rolling and cooking process with the remaining portions of dough.
- Remove the flatbreads from the skillet and let them cool slightly before using them for your favorite keto recipes.
