  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apples (peeled and cored)

For the Crumb Topping:

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set this dry mixture aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
